Here is a cabinet that was exhibited at the Scottish Furniture Makers Association's annual show, held this year in October at the Lighthouse in Glasgow. It commemorates a Heinrich Heine poem about unrequited love, although the unlikely star-crossed lovers are a pair of trees.
